Thank you for inviting me to support you through your pregnancy and birthing experience. Our shared purpose is to support your matrescence so you can feel physically, emotionally and mentally prepared for pregnancy, labour, birth and as a mother. Together we will spend time discussing and deciding on what is best for you.

Although I will share my knowledge and experience with you, you will remain the sole decision maker about what is best for you.

What you can expect from me :

• Through our coaching relationship I will draw on my sixteen years of professional midwifery practice to ensure that you are Supported, Honoured, Informed, Nurtured and Empowered (SHINE).

• Together we will talk about your options and guide you through your decisions.

• My role as your matrescence coach is a non-clinical service in that I am not providing midwifery care. I will refer you to other service providers and clinicians when we identify a need.

 What I expect from you :

• You acknowledge and agree that during our matrescence coaching relationship, I am not providing clinical midwifery care. You will arrange your own primary care provider for your clinical midwifery care. These service providers will attend to anything clinical in nature.

• You will develop a list of the questions and issues which you wish to discuss with me

• You will respect my professional coaching role as providing the context for meeting your desired needs.

• You accept that I am not responsible for the choices you make.

• You will promptly pay my invoices
